1. Who we are
AOUNK X is a technology company based in the United Arab Emirates. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you use our website, submit a request, create an account or use the Ideas Marketplace.
2. Account and contact information
When you create an account we collect your name, email address and password (stored securely by our authentication provider — we never see it in plain text). You may optionally add profile details such as company, location, website, LinkedIn and a short bio.
3. Project and lead submissions
When you use “Start a Project” we collect the details you provide — name, company, email, phone/WhatsApp, industry, needs, budget range, timeline and notes. Only authorised AOUNK X staff can read these submissions, and we use them only to respond to your request.
4. Ideas Marketplace profiles and ideas
Ideas you submit are reviewed before publication. Visitors who are not signed in see only a limited public preview. Fuller details are shown according to the visibility you choose. Your email address and phone number are never shown to other members. Marketplace profile details are shared only with members you are connected to.
5. Messages
Messages are visible only to the two participants in a conversation and, where necessary for safety, moderation or support, to AOUNK X administrators.
6. Cookies, local storage and sessions
We use essential browser storage to keep you signed in and to remember preferences such as language. We do not use advertising cookies.
7. Infrastructure and processing
Our website, database and authentication run on reputable cloud infrastructure providers that process data on our behalf under appropriate security controls. Access to data is restricted by role and enforced in the database.
8. Retention
We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to respond to your request, and then delete or anonymise it unless we are required to keep it.
9. Your rights
You can view and update your profile at any time. To request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information, email customersupport@aounkx.ae.
10. Changes
We may update this policy as our services evolve. The date at the top shows the latest version.
